Bhutan – Gold n Beautiful…

Clicked these pictures during my recent trip to Bhutan, at Buddha point – Thimphu.

It is known as Buddha Dordenma statue. Everything here, from the gates to the walls, roof tops and the statues are all gilded. This is a strikingly common feature in Bhutanese architecture. The people here, also have a ‘heart of gold’ – very friendly by nature…
