Abstract forms get me thinking!

“Abstraction allows man to see with his mind what he cannot see physically with his eyes….Abstract art enables the artist to perceive beyond the tangible, to extract the infinite out of the finite. It is the emancipation of the mind. It is an exploration into unknown areas.” – Arshile Gorky
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you see the above picture…
Have a lovely weekend!

Nice quote and photo. It looks like some kind of seed pod, but also looks like a snail. 🙂

I imagine fairy puffs floating through the air. When you see one, chances are it might have come from this pod of milkweed. I love the pods…I love the fluff…even better…they are the host for monarch butterflies caterpillars.

Interesting, the more I look, the more I see 😁 At first glance I saw an owl leaning 😅 Great find and I really like the nice and soft color scheme.

Reminds me of an insect crawling up a stick or maybe a bee. I also see the snail, bird and dried leaves. Ever look at the book Look What I Did with a Leaf! By Morteza E. Sohi? If it is milkweed, which it does seem to be, monarchs may be close by 🙂
